We would like to thank all our EcoSMR partners for a very successful two-year project that has now been successfully completed. We were involved in the EcoSMR (Finnish Ecosystem for Small Modular Reactors) project coordinated by VTT, the purpose of which was to develop the Finnish ecosystem and business around the new opportunities brought by small modular reactors (SMRs).
In this project, Refinec also had its own company project, where we developed our production methods with the focus of ensuring the best and consistent quality in the manufacture of SMRs. The development included the utilization of the latest welding automation technologies and welding metallurgical research.
The Finnish SMR ecosystem will continue this year in the form of EcoSMR-Hub, where Refinec is of course involved. Read more about the EcoSMR project at this link.
